Se construy\u00f3 en 1910 sobre el denominado campo de la Cruz. De aqu\u00ed sali\u00f3 el \u00faltimo viaje de El Irati el 31 de diciembre de 1955 a las 6 de la tarde en direcci\u00f3n a Pamplona. Dos d\u00edas despu\u00e9s se empezaban levantarse las v\u00edas.<br \/>\nActualmente el edificio de la estaci\u00f3n no existe. Sobre parte de su solar fue construido el centro de salud (en la calle que lleva el nombre de su fundador Domingo Elizondo). Era un edificio con planta baja y primer piso. A la izquierda estaba la cochera de reparaci\u00f3n y antes de la estaci\u00f3n los retretes.<br \/>\n(H. Una novela inglesa, publicada en 1901, nos lega la descripci\u00f3n de varias calles y parajes de la villa, acompa\u00f1ada de algunas im\u00e1genes que, aunque de escasa calidad, a\u00fan conservan el eco de lo que fue. Cuando de joven pasaba muchas veces para ir a Olaldea, su traves\u00eda estaba siempre con gente, que no se apartaban as\u00ed como as\u00ed. Y se ganaron esa fama y lo siguen haciendo. Lo digo con todo el cari\u00f1o del mundo y con el marcado aprecio que tengo por la gente de Agoitz, de verdad, lo sab\u00e9is.
