En la plaza de las Canteras, como viene siendo habitual, se ley\u00f3 el manifiesto republicano del 2007, donde \u00abcon mucho humor pero con una cr\u00edtica feroz\u00bb se hizo un repaso a la en esta ocasi\u00f3n son ocupados por el exconcejal de Chunta Aragonesista por Calatayud, Miguel \u00c1ngel Basanta, como embajador a la coherencia pol\u00edtica; y la secretaria de la Federaci\u00f3n de Barrios de Zaragoza, Nieves Boj, por su labor contra la violencia de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ambos son nuevos embajadores de esta \u00abrep\u00fablica virtual basada en los valores y no en las fronteras\u00bb, como la defini\u00f3 Chema Gregorio, presidente de la asociaci\u00f3n de vecinos de la Paz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Junto a los actos propiamente \u00abinstitucionales\u00bb, la fiesta fue aprovechada para declarar al barrio de Torrero como espacio Anti-OTAN, dentro de la campa\u00f1a iniciada en la ciudad contra la posible instalaci\u00f3n de una base de la Alianza Atl\u00e1ntica. Adem\u00e1s de estas acciones, se celebr\u00f3 la tradicional comida popular, amenizada con actuaciones de m\u00fasica y teatro.
